about

One of the things we wanted to do with the "An Infinite Winter" EP series was to write an appropriate ending/beginning to each EP so that each would flow together and have context for the greater whole of the series. The outro to "Without End" actually started as an intro track for "La Paradinha" that we decided to put back in the cellar as we got into mix down.

I revisited this track and started writing the beginning of "Without End" after my wife and I found out that we would be expecting our first child this year. Our experience was one of realizing a depth to and reverence within our hearts that we didn't know existed. Like everything had changed in the best way possible, and that reality scared the hell out of us. I doubt the feeling ever fully subsides, and the reality definitely does not.
